Don't get me wrong, it's got some semi-impressive gimmicks to it like the roller wheel that has been replaced by an invisible track-pad that does the same thing but with less control, 's it. A mouse, I might add that is not very ergonomic and weighs a tonne by mouse standards. You will also be looking at paying out well over £200 in accessories too! You will need one of apple's godawful Magic Mice things at 70-odd pounds.FOR A BLOODY MOUSE. A fantastic idea, I hear you poor deluded fools (who have not thought this through) cry! And I would probably agree with you if the thing had three or more ports, but no, it's only got two, and if you want to charge the bloody thing it means your down to just one! And yes, the bloody thing needs charging all the time if you want to actually do anything that requires processing power, or have the screen up to a usable brightness! Because Apple have decided that as USBc technology allows for large amounts of power to flow through the port, they will use the ports as battery connections too. But I think we can all agree that we can get by begrudgingly with Two ports. Two USB(c) ports is pretty bad for most people, especially if you like having things stored locally rather than having to rent cloud space (I object to paying a monthly subscription just to look at my own bloody pictures!). One of the biggest issues is that it only has two USBc ports (if you are wondering what USBc is, it is the same ports that you plug the recharge lead into on most modern android phones). But the negatives WAAAAY outweigh any positives. Is it more sleek, quiet and quick than a normal laptop for the same money? I doubt it. I'll admit it is sleek, it is light, it is quiet, charges quickly and it functions exactly as it is supposed to. It is the first apple computer I have had the misfortune in owning and it was a massive mistake!įirst of all, lets get the positives out of the way. I have had the worst case of buyer's remorse ever since I bought and started to use this Macbook Pro.
